TOMcase develops new transport solutions for the DJI Avata 360

With the market launch of the DJI Avata 360, new requirements arise for transporting, protecting and organizing the equipment. TOMcase is therefore developing several new transport solutions specifically designed for different areas of use – from a mobile backpack and a comprehensive Fly More protective case to a professional BOS solution for police forces and public authorities.

As always, the focus is on a well-designed protection concept: drone, controller, goggles, charging hub, additional batteries and accessories are safely stored, quickly accessible and neatly organized. A real practical advantage: the Avata 360 can be transported in all variants with mounted spotlights. The sensitive gimbal also remains optimally protected in the inlay – depending on handling, with or without the DJI gimbal protector.

New protective cases and backpacks for every application

Not every drone setup is used in the same way. Some users need a compact solution for travel, while others work with extensive Fly More equipment. Public authorities and professional emergency teams, on the other hand, need robust solutions where the equipment is immediately ready for use when it matters.

For this reason, every new TOMcase variant combines custom-fit protection with maximum clarity:

“Travel Edition” backpack – compact, mobile and suitable for everyday use

The Travel Edition is designed as a backpack solution for mobile users. It offers space for the Avata 360, the Motion Stick, the Goggles N3, the charging hub, the RC 2 controller as well as additional accessories and extra batteries. The numerous external pockets also provide secure storage for extensive travel equipment and further accessories – even an iPad can be stored. The modular MOLLE system offers additional attachment options for equipment that needs to be quickly accessible on the go. Ideal for travel, spontaneous missions and outdoor days where flexibility matters.

ECO “Fly More” protective case – well-designed inlay for extensive equipment

The ECO protective case was developed for pilots with maximum equipment. The intelligent foam inlay safely holds the drone, the Motion Stick, the Goggles N3, the charging hub with inserted batteries and the RC 2 controller.

Thanks to its rubber seal, the case is splash-proof and IP65 certified. In addition, the ECO series combines reliable protection with sustainability: the protective case is made from 100% recycled plastic and offers a robust transport solution with reduced resource consumption.

BOS protective case – developed for police forces and public authorities

A special BOS protective case is being developed for professional users. Tailored to the demanding requirements of police forces and public authorities, this variant offers space for two Avata 360 drones, two charging hubs with inserted batteries, the RC 2 controller and a separate accessory compartment. The focus here is uncompromisingly on fast operational readiness and a clear structure.

Outlook: Outdoor hardcase backpack in planning

In addition to the first variants, an outdoor hardcase backpack is also planned for a later date. This solution will combine the mobility of a backpack with the extreme protection of a hardcase – perfect for particularly demanding travel scenarios.
