The ultralight and extraordinary robust, rotation molded LLDPE-cases of SKB 3R and 3I series are ressistant to UV, solvents, corrosion and fungi. Meeting ATA and military specifications and following highest quality standards the hardcases are vapour diffusion-tight (MIL-STD-C-4150J), dust-tight and watertight (DIN EN 60529 (IP67)). They are suitable for airfreight shipment following Category1 (ATA 300). Due to an automated equalising valve the case can be used in a temperature range from -30°C up to +90°C (-22°F bis 194°F).

The case is made from shock-resistant polypropylene, meets the military standard and assures a safe transportation by car, plane, ship or train. The cases are suitable for use in manufacturing industry which needs high-class resistance against shocks and atmospheric impacts. The hardcase is break-proof and non-corrosive due to powder-coated parts made of stainless steel and comes with two-stage locks and loops to install padlocks. Further it comes with a padded carrying strap. A stable frame joints runs the entire case length and makes the case extraordinary solid.

The SKB cases of the 3R and 3I series are available with inlays made of rigid foam with fine pours incl. shape accurate and precisely worked cut-outs. These surface-sealed foam inlays guarantee a high resistivity and are available exclusively at TOMcase.
